The 
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the construction power supply services for Kholongchhu Hydro Project was signed on September 9, 2015 at Thimphu between BPC and Kholongchhu Hydro Energy Limited (KHEL), a Joint Venture Company of Druk Green Power Corporation and SJVNL. The MoU was signed by MD, BPC and MD, KHEL.
BPC shall take up the works on deposit work basis for construction, testing and commissioning of necessary extension of BPC system through 132 kV transmission line, 132/33 kV substation and 33 kV overhead network of KHEL. The estimated cost of the work is Nu. 511.28 million.
