Subsequent to Tripartite meeting amongst DHI, BPC and DHI-INFRA on April 15, 2015, signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between BPC and DHI-INFRA on September 7, 2015 and clearance from DHI to award the construction of the 66 kV Double Circuit Transmission Line from Jemina to Changedaphu, BPC issued the tender document to DHI-INFRA for submission of offer. The offer was submitted as per the schedule and deadline. After the rate comparison of the offer and the recently awarded contracts and pre award meeting to establish the reasonability of the offer, contract agreement for construction of 66 kV Double circuit transmission line from Jemina to Changedaphu was signed between BPC and DHI-INFRA on January 27, 2016 at Contract Price Nu.65, 787,593.60 (Nu. sixty five million seven hundred eighty seven thousand five hundred ninety three Ch. sixty only).
The DHI – INFRA shall be responsible for the check survey, ROW clearance, excavation, foundation casting, tower erection along with its accessories and stringing of conductor & OPGW. All the materials except the foundation materials required for the construction shall be issued by BPC and the materials shall be delivered at Jemina. The detail survey of the transmission line and EIA study shall be taken up by BPC. The tower locations and Environment Clearance shall be release of DHI-INFRA by BPC. The transmission line shall be completed in 24 months from the date of contract signing.
