A memorandum of understanding was signed between Bhutan Power Corporation Ltd and Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) on December 18, 2015 at Le Meridian, Thimphu. This is the fourth MoU signed with EGAT with its first signing in 2007. The purpose of MOU is to continue to develop technical and business cooperation between BPC and EGAT, and to share and support each other through technical assistance, sharing of knowledge, trainings and exchange programs, as well as business development.
The new MoU for a period of 5 years is yet another milestone for BPC and EGAT. Besides Human Resource Development, training, tour, exchange Program, the MoU will look into new initiative for business opportunity and work towards sustainable growth between the two companies.
